§ Mr. H. StraussNo. I know that it has become more difficult in recent months to export nylon stockings and most other textile products, but I understand that the best known brands are still selling well overseas.
With regard to the second part of the Question, there is no prohibition of the sale of nylon stockings at home, but each manufacturer's allocation of nylon yarn depends upon his exports of stockings. 33W Owing to the difficulties in export markets I understand that some manufacturers are temporarily increasing their deliveries at home, but when overseas demand revives exports must again have first claim on supplies.
