§ Mr. SandysThe Ministry of Supply does not allocate motor cars. However, it does from time to time support requests to the manufacturers from the British Travel and Holiday Association for early deliveries of a limited number of cars to firms catering for foreign tourists. The firms have to show that, among other things, their business is bringing in foreign currency.
