§ Mr. J. Foster165 members of the Bamangwato tribe are at present in custody awaiting trial. The preparatory examination of 158 persons began at Serowe on 17th June in the court of a specially appointed magistrate. The preparatory examination of the remaining seven will be held at Palapye before a similar court.
