§ Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has reached a decision on the Uyeasound Pier.
§ Mr. J. StuartUyeasound Pier is included in the list of essential piers contained in the Programme of Highland Development published in 1950. I am aware that Zetland County Council have been in negotiation with the proprietor for the purchase of the existing pier, but I have no specific proposals before me at present which call for a decision.
