§ 87. Mr. Wyattasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will make a statement on the theft of Lord Vernon's gold casket from the National Maritime Museum on 15th July; and whether he will now restore the cuts in warding staff he has imposed on this museum.
§ 88. Mr. Jayasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether his attention has been called to the recent theft from the National Maritime Museum; and whether he will now reconsider the decision to impose staff cuts on this and other institutions.

I am now able to add that, according to my most recent information the police have rcovered all except one small piece of the casket. Arrests have been made and proceedings are expected to follow.
