Mr. Bullardasked the Minister of Education whether she will take steps to prevent the closing of further village schools in Norfolk; and whether, in cases where schools have already been closed and small children have to travel to neighbouring villages each day, she will ensure that adequate transport is provided.

On the second, I understand the authority's transport arrangements are in line with the advice I gave in paragraph 5 of Circular 242.
