§ Rev. LI. Williamsasked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he can now inform the House whether the British Broadcasting Corporation have decided to advance the date of the opening of the Wenvoe television transmitting station to coincide with the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
§ Mr. GammansThe B.B.C. has informed my noble Friend that even if the station were opened during the period of the Royal National Eisteddfod it would not be technically possible to transmit any programmes from Aberystwyth to Wenvoe and in all the circumstances the Corporation proposes to open on 15th August as already announced.
