asked the Minister of Health (1) what changes he proposes making in the trainee scheme for general practitioners;

(2) how many general practitioners now receive the trainer's supervision fee; and how many did so a year ago.

No changes are at present under consideration. During the quarter ending 31st March, 1952, 363 doctors in England and Wales were receiving a Training Grant: in the quarter ending the 31st March, 1951, the number was 359.
