§ Sir T. DugdaleThe scientific programme of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Research Institute is under the supervision of the Agricultural Research Council. The Council works in the closest touch with the Medical Research Council, and there is also frequent interchange of ideas and experiences between the Medical Research Institute at Mill Hill and the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Institute at Pirbright.
