§ 75. Captain Ryderasked the Minister of Health if he will investigate the circumstances under which Messrs. Fairs, Blissard Barnes and Stowe, Solicitors, of Bank Chambers, 1434, London Road, Norbury, have been unable to obtain any answer to their letters addressed to the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases for a period of over five months on behalf of their client, Mr. H. H. Wackett, with a view to putting an end to such delays.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithMy right hon. Friend much regrets the hospital's delay in answering the solicitors' letter, and he is asking them to take steps to avoid such delays in future; but I am told that the secretary of the Board of Governors last month informed the 45W solicitors by telephone that he again proposed to consult the Ministry. He has now done so, and the matter will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
