§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftThere is no restriction on the supply of small quantities of iron and steel. Details of the distribution scheme for these materials are given in the "Notes for Consumers," published by the Stationery Office, of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy. Copper and zinc may be used without licence in the making of models, provided the metals are five per cent. or less by weight of the finished article. The use of nickel is prohibited, except under licence. Licences for any of these materials are not ordinarily given except on export grounds.
