ThorneycroftSince 31st October, 1951, manufacturers' maximum prices for most kinds of utility furniture, men's shirts and underwear, cotton knitted goods, and children's light outer clothing have been increased. However, prices of these and other textile goods in the shops are now settled largely by competition, and many goods are on sale at prices below the maximum.
