§ 90. Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he is now able to announce the arrangement he has reached to increase the housing subsidy to compensate local authorities for the increase in the Bank rate.
Mr. MacmillanI discussed the proposed new arrangements for the housing subsidy with representatives of the Associations of Local Authorities on 21st February and I hope to announce the Government's decision in a day or two.
