Mr. Grimondasked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations when it is proposed that a further meeting of financial and economic experts from the Commonwealth will take place; and whether in the meantime he will set up permanent machinery for studying Commonwealth economic affairs.
§ Mr. J. FosterIt is hoped that it will be possible to hold a further meeting with Commonwealth representatives on financial and related subjects within a few months, but that is a matter for consultation between Governments.
With regard to the latter part of the hon. Member's question no new machinery for the purpose in mind is contemplated.
