§ Mr. SandysThe expansion of the output of steel depends primarily on obtaining increased supplies of raw materials. The procurement of materials is the task of the steel industry. However, the Ministry of Supply maintains very close touch with the industry in this important matter and I am satisfied that every effort is being made to improve the position.
