§ 132. Mr. Proctorasked the Attorney-General whether he is aware that certain ground landlords are now offering the freehold of some of their London properties at prices ranging from 45 to 50 years' purchase of the present ground rent; that the offer is not open to negotiation and is kept open for three months only; and whether he will introduce legislation authorising owners of leasehold houses to buy their freehold at not more than 30 years' purchase of the existing ground rent.
