asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in view of the difficulties in procuring supplies of imported foods rich in proteins, he will encourage the production of such indigenous foods as Morecambe shrimps.

Yes. My Department and the White Fish Authority will certainly do all they can to encourage production of British-caught shrimps and other shellfish.
