HC Deb 21 February 1952 vol 496 c60W
114. Captain Ryder

asked the Minister of Education whether she is aware of the widespread desire that the existing regulations which prevent a boy from taking the school leaving certificate until he is 16 years of age should be amended; and whether she will make a statement as to what action she proposes to take in this matter.
