§ 84. Mr. Mikardoasked the Minister of Transport when he expects to issue authority for the erection of traffic lights at the junction of Caversham Road and Tudor Road, Reading; and why this matter has been so long delayed.
§ Mr. MaclayAn application has been received today from the County Borough Council for a grant towards the cost of installing these signals, and if the details are in order I propose to authorise them. Since my Department were first informed of the Council's proposal last August discussions have been taking place on technical points.
