§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydUp to the end of the third week of January, the National Coal Board had purchased 460,000 tons of American coal, which is all but 40,000 tons of the authorised programme. One hundred and two thousand five hundred tons have already arrived in this country. So far, contracts for 190,000 tons have been cancelled.
