DugdaleIf the trend of results of the current trials is confirmed by a favourable recommendation from the Agricultural Research Council at the end of the year, the Government intend to introduce legislation when opportunity offers to permit the use of antibiotics in animal feeding under suitable safeguards, and the necessary Bill is in preparation.
