Palingasked the Minister of Health if he has considered the pronouncement of the Doncaster district coroner, a copy of which has been sent to him, regarding the moving of old folks from hospital to hospital; and if he will advise regional boards to give old folk in need of treatment the consideration and comfort necessary.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodI am aware of the facts of this case. One of the moves was made at the patient's own request and I am satisfied that the others were necessary on medical grounds. I have no evidence that regional hospital boards are in need of the advice suggested by the hon. Member.
