§ Sir A. SalterI understand that the examination by the firms concerned of the extensive exploratory work on the North Yorkshire deposits is nearly complete. Until I know the results of this and there has been discussion with those concerned with the work, any expression of opinion about the prospects of commercial production would be premature and possibly misleading.
