§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydIn making appointments to consultative councils, to which I assume the hon. Member refers, I already consult the national bodies representing county and rural district councils. I do not feel that it would be practicable, having regard to the size of the consultative councils, to receive nominations also from the county associations of parish councils.
