§ 95. Mr. Beattieasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will introduce legislation to amend the Distribution of Industry Act, 1945, so as to include Northern Ireland; and whether he will then designate parts of Northern Ireland as development areas under this Act.
§ Mr. H. StraussThe Government of Northern Ireland have their own legislation, under which they carry out functions similar to those carried out in the Development Areas in Great Britain. Northern Ireland also shares in the administrative measures employed in the United Kingdom generally for helping existing Development Areas.
