§ Mr. GammansThe number of lines to Government Departments in Edinburgh is 29 less than it was a year ago. The essential needs of Government Departments, as of the public generally, must continue to be met, so far as Post Office resources permit, and an absolute ban, as suggested in the second part of my hon. Friend's Question would in my view, be impracticable.
