§ Mr. N. Macphersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will publish a paper showing the revenue from rates, the net block grant or equalisation grant and other revenue accruing to each local authority for the year 1946 and subsequent years.
§ Mr. J. StuartParticulars showing the total revenue of each class of local authority in Scotland and the receipts from rates and Government grants are contained in the Local Financial Returns (Scotland), copies of which are laid before Parliament; and a return showing the rates levied by each authority and the total assessments collected in Scotland is published annually.
I am sending the hon. Member copies of these returns, so far as they have been completed, for the years he mentions.
