§ THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES (LORD CARRINGTON)Earlier in the year attention was drawn in another place to the nuisance to which the noble Viscount refers, and my right honourable friend the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, after consulting some of his colleagues, arranged, in collaboration with my right honourable friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government, for an investigation of the problem in consultation with representatives of the interests most closely affected. The results of this examination have not yet been reported, but I understand that they will be received in the very near future. It will then be possible to consider whether any action can be taken that is likely to be effective.
