§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe estimated cost of the building and equipment is about £178,000, on which the loan charges payable by the London County Council will rank for 50 per cent. Exchequer grant. The value of the site has not yet been determined. The specialist staffing of the centre has begun, and it is hoped that general practitioners will be practising there early next year. All but the accommodation provided for these is generally in use, though the various clinic services have yet to be built up to the full extent planned.
