§ Mr. LytteltonThe Japanese Government does not contribute directly to the Malayan War Damage Scheme. Of the proceeds of the disposal of Japanese Assets in Malaya, $60 million (£.7 million) have, however, been set aside for the War Damage Fund.
§ 51. Mr. Errollasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the maximum limit placed on the amount to be provided by Her Majesty's Government in any one year for the payment of war damage claims incurred by persons residing in Malaya at the outbreak of the war with Japan.
