96. Major Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Scotland the total expenditure made by the education authorities in Scotland under the heading of further education in the last full year for which figures are available; and what subjects are covered by further education.
§ Mr. J. StuartIf education in universities and training colleges is excluded the total expenditure of education authorities in the financial year 1951–52 on further education, including assistance to pupils, was £2,025,000.
