§ 49. Mr. Fieldasked the Minister of Transport if he will improve the sign-posting in London and on the routes leading into the Metropolis, with a view to these improvements being completed before the Coronation.
Mr. BraithwaiteWe have recently received a valuable report of a working party on the signposting of London. My right hon. Friend is considering this report and hopes to announce a decision 111W about its recommendations in the near future. It will not be practicable to carry out a comprehensive scheme before the Coronation, but we are considering the issue of a map of through routes in the London area which should be of assistance to visitors.
