Mr. Alportasked the Minister of Food whether he will make the necessary arrangements for making additional quantities of sugar available in 1953, in order to ensure that the housewife is able to make the best advantage of United Kingdom soft fruits for jam making, and thereby to ease some of the difficulties being experienced by soft-fruit growers.
