§ Mr. EdenThe Development Division of the British Middle East Office has been transferred from Cairo to Beirut. Owing to the extra cost of maintenance involved in this move, certain economies in administration will have to be made. Accordingly the services of one technical adviser are being dispensed with and certain other reductions in expenditure are being considered.
