§ Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenportasked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to state what arrangements will be made for the attendance of the Press at the test of the United Kingdom atomic weapon which is to take place this year.
§ The Prime MinisterAfter consultation with Her Majesty's Government in the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom have decided that it will not be practicable for Press correspondents or any unofficial observers to be present at the test. Arrangements will, however, be made to give out the fullest suitable information after the test has taken place.
