§ Mr. Maclay1.48 per cent. of personal injury accidents in 1951 were attributed by the Police to the presence of dogs in the carriageway. Dog owners are urged by propaganda, and an appeal on the back of dog licences, to keep their dogs under control. I do not see what further steps can usefully be taken.
