§ Sir W. MoncktonOn 4th April, 1952, there were in the ports of Great Britain 14,793 registered unemployed dock workers, of whom 4,167 were in London. Corresponding figures a year ago were 4,841 and 364 respectively. Separate figures are not available for unemployed dockers in West Ham.
