93. Mr. R. Williamsasked the Minister of National Insurance if he is aware of the widespread dissatisfaction caused by inadequate assessments of degrees of disablement in cases of industrial injuries; and whether he will consult the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council thereon.
§ Mr. PeakeNo. The assessments are made by independent medical boards and medical appeal tribunals, and I have no reason to think that they do not conform to the principles and standards laid down in the Act and Regulations.
