§ Miss HorsbrughI assume that my hon. Friend is referring to schemes to be made by me under the Endowed Schools Acts, 1869 to 1948. Only the scheme for Hertfordshire has so far been approved but three or four more have been drafted and are in course of the first publication. It is my practice to consult local education authorities at the earliest stage, even before such schemes are drafted, but no formal proposals are required to be made to them in this matter.
