§ Sir W. MoncktonI am informed by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland that the figures are as follows:
- 86,700 males and 30,300 females at June, 1945;
- 85,500 males and 19,600 females at June, 1950; and
- 84,900 males and 19,200 females at June, 1951.
The figures relate to persons employed on holdings of more than one acre, excluding the occupiers.
