asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any decision has yet been taken about the duration of summer time in 1952.

The Government propose that summer time in 1952 shall extend from 20th April to 26th October. A draft of the Order in Council necessary under the Summer Time Act, 1947, will be laid before Parliament in due course.
