HC Deb 29 November 1951 vol 494 c175W
102. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the danger of a shortage of milk in the near future in the Bristol area as a result of the increase in the slaughter of milking cows; and what steps he is taking to ensure that this region receives an adequate supply.

Dr. Hill

If milk should become short in the Bristol area supplies would be moved from other regions to meet the shortage.
