HC Deb 29 November 1951 vol 494 c173W
96. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Minister of Health if he will make inquiries with a view to determining how many colonial nurses who have completed their training in British hospitals have been appointed as ward sisters; how many coloured medical students have found appointments in British hospitals; and in what hospitals adverse colour discrimination exists.

Mr. Crookshank

None of this information is readily available, but if the hon. Member can give me evidence of discrimination in particular cases I will gladly look into it.
