§ Mr. MaclayIf, by airports, my hon. Friend means civil aerodromes with Customs facilities, the total acreage in Scotland, England and Wales is 1,350, 9,500, 200 respectively. The corresponding figures for 1939 were approximately 95, 4,400, 100. The area of all aerodromes in Scotland, England and Wales could not be calculated without very considerable expenditure of effort.
