§ Mr. G. Williamsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Royal Commission on the taxation of private profits and income is expected to report.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterThe Commission has received a good deal of written evidence, and has held several public meetings at which it has taken oral evidence. I understand however that the evidence so far received is far from complete and that it will be a considerable time before the Commission will be ready to report.
