HC Deb 22 November 1951 vol 494 cc83-4W
103. Mr. R. E. Winterbottom

asked the Minister of Health if his attention has been called to the desire of the Sheffield Health Authority to establish a health centre in the premises already provided in Firth Park, Sheffield; and if he will state his policy in respect of health centres generally.

Mr. Crookshank

Yes, and discussions are proceeding between representatives of my Department and the British Medical Association with a view to settling a model form of contract for doctors in health centres which will, I hope, solve some of the difficulties which have arisen on earlier schemes. The development of health centres must however be subject to the general limitations in respect of building work.
