§ Mr. Houghton
asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will now publish the Treasury Minute in reply to paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Third Report of the Committee on Public Accounts.

§ Mr. R. A. Butler
The Treasury Minute in reply to the Reports of the Committee of Public Accounts will be furnished to the Committee in the near future. The normal practice is for the Committee to present the Minute to the House shortly afterwards as an appendix to one of their own Reports.
