HC Deb 19 November 1951 vol 494 c9W
86. Sir T. Moore

asked the Minister of Food what is the present position with regard to the proposed legislation to amend the law relating to food and drugs; and what arrangements have been made for prior consultation with the interests concerned.

Major Lloyd George

I am considering, in consultation with my right hon. Friends the Minister of Health and the Secretary of State for Scotland, the possibility of amending the Food and Drugs Acts but regret that it is not yet possible to make a statement. Any proposals will be the subject of the usual consultations with the interests concerned.
