As all the industries concerned were not nationalised on the same date the information asked for by my hon. Friend is not readily available for earlier years. During the period 1st January, 1950, to 30th September last, about 35 per cent. of the number of working days lost in stoppages of work through industrial disputes was lost in industries which have been nationalised since 1945, and about 65 per cent. in other industries.
