HC Deb 15 November 1951 vol 493 cc57-8W
72. Mr. J. Hynd

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been drawn to the disabilities suffered by co-operative societies due to the existing restrictions on the total individual shareholding of members; and whether he will introduce early legislation to bring the present limitation more into line with current values.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter
